Day 3 : Shami's five for 28 runs on tough batting pitch powered India to knees down Africa by 63 runs at Johannesburg

South Africa resumed batting with 17/1 in the 4th day morning and all out scoring 177 runs and lost the match by 63 runs. D Elger played excellent inning of unbeaten 86 runs but other South African batsmen failed to stood in middle for long on difficult batting pitch and lost wickets in regular interwals. Mohammed Shami bowled very well for India and picked up 5 wickets of just 28 runs. J Bumrah and Ishant Sharma also took 2 wickets each. Although, South Africa won the series 2-1 but, India bowled extra ordinery pace bowling in the match and fought back well on tough pitch of Johannesburg. Bhuvneshwar Kumar declared man of the match for his all round performances in match.

Day 2 : Bumrah's 5 wkts & B Kumar's 3 wkts with excellent bowling finished Africa on 194, India were 49/1 at stumps lead by 42 runs

South Africa resumed batting with 6/1 in the 2nd day morning and all out after tea break scoring 194 runs. HM Amla played well and contributed 61 runs. K Rabada 30 and VD Philander 35 runs also leading scorers for Africa as well. JJ Bumrah bowled well and picked up 5 wicket and Bhuneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets with excellent bowling performances. South Africa lead by 7 runs over India's 1st innings score.

India bated 17 overs in later part of day and were 49/1 at stumps. M Vijay 13* and KL Rahul with 16 runs are in middle to resume 3rd day play for India. India lead by 42 runs as well with 9 wickets remaining.

Day 1 : Despite of V Kohli & CA Pujara's fifties India out on 187 and Africa were 6/1 at stumps day1

3rd and last test of 3-match series between South Africa and India started today at Johannesburg. Opting to bat first, India once again surrender against South African pace attack and all out in 76.4 overs having score 187 runs. Skipper Virat Kohli 54, CA Pujara 50 and B Kumar 30 runs were top scorers for India. K Rabada bowled well and picked up 3 wickets. M Morkel, VD Philander and AL Phehlukwayo got two wickets each with tight bowling spells.

South Africa were 6/1 at stumps day1. D Elgar 4 and K Rabada 0 were in middle to resume batting on day-2.
