4th T20i : India with all round performances knees down West Indies by huge 59 runs and led 5-match series 3-1

4th twenty20 international match of t20i match series played between West Indies vs India at Central Broward Regional Park, Lauderhill on Saturday, August 06, 2022.

Putting into bat first by West Indies, India got firing srart with RG Sharma and Suryakumar initially. Botth added 53 runs just in 4.4 overs before Rohit got out scoring quick 16 balls 33 runs. Suryakumar also followed him scoring 14 balls 24 runs. Rishabh Pant with 31 balls 44 runs and Axar Patel's 8 balls 20* runs cameo helps India to set 192 runs target for West Indies. Obed McCoy took 2 wickets but gone for 66 runs in his 4 ovrers. Alzarri Joesph also picked up 2 wkts for West Indies as well.

Following huge target of 192 runs, West Indies team all out scoring just 132 runs in 19.1 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 59 runs. N Pooran and Rovman Powell with 24 runs each were top scorers for West Indies. Avesh, Axar and Bishnoi took 2 wickets each. Arshdeep Singh bowled well and picked up 3 wickets of just 12 runs. Avesh Khan declared man of the match. India led 5-match series 3-1 as well.
