3rd T20i : Suryakumar Yadav's 44 balls 76 runs helps India to chase 165 runs easily and won the match by 7 wkts

3rd twenty20 international match of t20i match series played between West Indies vs India at Warner Park, Basseterre on Tuesday, August 02, 2022.

Putting into bat first by India, West Indies got good start with Brandon King and Kyle Mayers initially. Both added 57 runs in 7.2 overs before King got out scoring 20 runs. Kyle Mayers played well and smashed 50 balls well 73 runs before lost his wicket. Pooran, Powell and Hetmyer's twenties helps West Indies to set good target of 165 runs for India to get. Bhuvneshwar bowled well and took 2 wickets for India. Avesh Khan conceded 47 runs of his 3 overs as well.

Following 165 runs target, India got Rohit Sharma (11*) retired hurt on team score 19 runs. Shreyas joined with Suryakumar Yadav and took the charge in hand. Shreyas made 24 runs but, Suryakumar Yadav bated wonderful inning of 44 balls 76 runs and put India in front foot. Rishabh Pant also played good inning of 33* runs and presented India easy win by 7 wickets in 19 overs. Suryakumar declared man of the match and India led 5-match series 2-1.
