2nd T20i : Obed McCoy's 6 for 17 runs & Brandon King's 68 runs powered West Indies to knees down India by 5 wickets

2nd twenty20 international match of t20i match series played between West Indies vs India at Warner Park, Basseterre on Monday, August 01, 2022.

Putting into bat first by West Indies, India lost Rohit Sharma on very first ball of the match. Suryakumar (11), Shreyas Iyer (10) and Rishabh Pant (24) also departed in regular interwals. Hardik Pandya with 31 runs and Ravindra Jadeja with 27 runs bated some good cricket but other lower orders failed to bat well and India managed to set small target of 139 runs for West Indies to get. Obed McCoy bowled very well and took six wickets of just 17 runs in his 4 overs.

Following small target of 139 runs, West Indies with Brandon Kings superb 52 balls 68 runs from the top and Devon Thomas' 19 balls 31 unbeaten runs made chase in 19.2 overs and won the match by 5 wickets.
