Day-5 : Jadeja's impressive 181 balls 61* runs went in vain as Archer & Stokes 3 wkts each led England to win by 22 runs

Resume batting on 58/4, India wtih Ravindra Jadeja 61 unbeaten runs fought very hard but all out scoring 170 runs and lost the match by 22 runs. Jofra Archer and Benstokes shared 3 wickets each. Bryndon Carse took 2 wickets as well. Ben Stokes declared man of the match for his all rounder performances with 5 wkts and 33 & 44 runs in match. England led 5-match test series 2-1 as well.

Day-4 : Washington Sundar's 4 for 22 led India to finished England on 192 runs, Following 193 runs India score 58/4 at stumps

Resume batting on 2/0, England team all out scoring 192 runs in 62.1 overs. Joe Root with 40 runs and Ben Stokes with 33 runs were top scorers for England. Washington Sundar bowled well and took 4 wickets. Bumrah and Siraj shared 2 wickets each. Following 193 runs target, India score 58/4 at stumps. Brydon Carse took 2 wickets. India still required 135 runs to win. KL Rahul with 33* to resume batting with RR Pant on day-5.

Day-3 : KL Rahul's 100, Rishabh Pant's 74 and Ravindra Jadeja's 72 runs led India to score equal 387 runs, England score 2/0 at stumps

Resume batting on 145/3, India with KL Rahul 100, Rishabh Pant 74 and Ravindra Jadeja's 72 runs score equal 387 runs in 119.2 overs. Chris Woakes picked up 3 wickets. Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes shared 2 wickets each for England as well. Batting in 2nd inning England score 2/0 at stumps Day-3.

Day-2 : Root's 104 and J Smith & B Carse's 50s led England to score 387 runs, Bumrah took 5 for 74, India score 145/3 at stumps

Resume batting on 251/4, England with Joe Root's 104, Jamie Smith 51 and Brydon Carse's 56 runs score 387 runs in 1st inning. Jasprit Bumrah bowled well and picked-up 5 wickets of 74 runs. Mhd Siraj and Nitish Reddy shared 2 wickets each. India score 145/3 at stumps. KL Rahul with 53 runs and RR Pant with 19 runs to resume batting on day-3.

Day-1 : England with slow batting score 251/4, Root 99* and Stokes with 39* to resume on day-2, Nitish took 2 wkts for India

Opting to bat first, England with very slow batting score 251/4 at stumps. Joe Root plated well and contributed unbeaten 99 runs. Ollie Pope 44 and Ben Stokes score unbeaten 39 runs.
