1st Twenty20i match of three t20i match series will be played between Zimbabwe vs India at Harare Sports Club Ground, Harare on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
Putting into bat first by India, Zimbabwe with poor bating performances managed to score 125/7 runs in 20 overs. Wessly Madhevere with 39 runs and Tadiwanashe Marumani with 27 runs were op scorers for Zimbabwe. Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav shared 2 wickets each for India as well.
Following small target of 126 runs, India with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's firing 19 balls 50, Ishan Kishan's 35 and Shreyas Iyer's unbeaten 28 runs made chase easily in 13.2 overs and won the match by 7 wickets with 40 balls remaining. Blessing Muzarabani took 2 wickets for Zimbabwe. Mayank Yadav declared man of the match for his 2 wickets of 18 runs. India led series 1-0.
