Qualifier 12 : Lahiru Kumara & Hasaranga's killer bowling with 3 for each led Sri Lanka to restrict Netherland on 44 runs and win by 8 wkts
12th Qualifier match of ICC T20 worldcup 2021 played between Sri Lanka vs Netherlands on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
Putting into bat first by Sri Lanka, Netherlands with very poor batting performance managed to score just 44 runs in 10 overs. Lahiru Kumara and Hasaranga de Silva bowled wonderful spells and took 3 wickets each. Theekshana also picked up 2 wickets. Sri Lanka made chase of 45 runs in 7.1 overs with Kusal Perera's 33 runs and registered comprehensive win by 8 wickets. Lahiru Kumara declared man of the match.
