Putting into bat first by India, West Indies with Shai Hope's 30, Roston Chase 40, Shimron Hetmyer 12 balls 27, Rovman Powell 19 balls 34* and Jason Holder's 22 balls 37* runs set huge target of 196 runs for India to get. Jasprit Bumrah with 2 for 36 was top bowler for India.
Following huge 196 runs, India with Sanju Samson's superb match winning 50 balls 97 unbeaten runs made chase in 19.2 overs and won the comprehensively by 5 wickets. Sanju smashed 12 fours and 4 sixes in his brave inning. Tilak Varma also contributed well 15 balls 27 runs for India. India qualified for Semi Final and will play with England as Wankhede. Sanju declared man of the match.
