Sanju Samson's quick 46 balls 89 runs, Abhishek Sharma's firing 21 balls 52 runs, Ishan Kishan's 25 balls 54 runs and Shivam Dube's 8 balls 26* runs cameo were highlights of Indian wonderful inning. James Neesham with 3 for 46 runs was top bowler for New Zealand.

Following huge target of 256 runs, New Zealand team all out scoring 159 rus in 19 overs and lost the final match by huge margins of 96 runs. Tim Seifert with quick 26 balls 52 runs and MJ Santner with 43 runs were top scorers for New Zealand. Axar Patel bowled well and took 3 wickets of 27 runs. JJ Bumrah with 4 for just 15 runs was top bowler for India. Bumrah declared man of the match and Samson declared player of the tournament. India won 2026 T20 World Cup Title as well. This is India's 3rd T20 World Cup title and most by any team around the world.
