Putting into bat first, India with extra-ordinary batting performances set very target of 254 runs for England to get. Sanju Samson 42 balls 89, Ishan Kishan 18 balls 39, Shivam Dube 25 balls 43, Hardik Pandya 12 balls 27 and Tilak Varma with 7 balls 21 runs were highlights of Indian inning. Team India smashed 19 big sixes and 18 fantastic fours in excellen inning. Will Jacks and Adil Rashid shared 2 wickets each for England.

Following huge target of 254 runs, England with Jacob Bethell's excellent 48 balls firing 105 runs and Will Jacks' 20 balls 35 balls fought very hard but managed to score good 246/7 runs in 20 overs and lost the match just by 7 runs. Varun Chakravarthy conceded 64 runs in his 4 overs. Hardik Pandya took 2 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah also bowled well with 1 for 33 runs. Samson declared man of the match for his quick 89 runs.
