Opting to bat first, Pakistan with inform batsman Sahibzada Farhan's 45 balls 63 runs, Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman 25 runs each managed to score 164/9 runs in 20 overs. Liam Dawson bowled well and took 3 wickets of 24 runs. Jofra Archer and Jamie Overton shared 2 wickets each for England as well.
Following 165 runs, England with Harry Brook's superb 51 balls 100 runs inning made chase in 19.1 overs and won the match by 2 wickets. Will Jacks with 28 runs was other top scorer for England. Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled well and took 4 wickets of 30 runs. Harry Brook declared man of the match for his match winning 100 runs inning.
