Putting into bat first by Netherlands, Sri Lanka with wonderful batting performances set huge target of 202 runs for Netherlands to get. Kusal Mendis' 29 balls 46 runs, Charith Asalanka's 21 balls 46 runs, Angelo Mathews' 15 balls 30 runs and Wanindu Hasaranga's 6 balls 20* runs were highlights of Sri Lankan inning.
Following huge target of 202 runs, Netherlands team managed to score 118 runs in 16.4 overs and lost the match by huge margins of 83 runs. Scott Edwards with 31 runs was top scorer for Netherlands.
