Opting to bat first, South Africa with very poor batting performances managed to set small target of 114 runs for Bangladesh to get. SA as one stage were 4/23 in 4.2 overs. Heinrich Klaasen 46 runs and David Miller with 29 runs played some good innings for Africa. Tanzim Hasan Sakib bowled well for Bangladesh and took 3 wickets of just 18 runs in his 4 overs.

Following small target of 114 runs, Bangladesh top orders por batting performances managed to score 109/7 runs in 20 overs and lost the low scoring match by 4 runs margin. Towhid Hridoy played good inning of 37 runs for Bangladesh. Keshav Maharaj bowled well and took 3 wickets for Africa. Heinrich Klaasen declared man of the match for his 46 runs.
