8th Season of ICC Champions Trophy final won by Pakistan who beat India by huge margins of 180 runs at The Oval. Fakar Zaman smashed 114 runs. Indian batsmen in reply knees down rudly against Pakistan bowling attack and managed to score 158 runs in 30.3 overs and lost the match by huge margins 180 runs. Fakhar Zaman declared man of the match for his excellent 114 runs.
India winner of Champons Trophy 2013

7th Season of ICC Champions Trophy final won by India who beat England by 5 runs at Edgbaston. RA Jadeja was declared man of the match and he also received the "Golden Ball" for taking the most 12 wickets in tournament. Shikhar Dhawan received the "Golden Bat" for scoring the most 363 runs in the series and was also the man of the series for his outstanding performance. This was India's second time winning the trophy, after 2002. MS Dhoni became the first skipper to win all the major ICC trophies.

3rd season of ICC Champions Trophy Final between India and Sri Lanka was washed out twice to leave no result. In the end India and Sri Lanka were declared joint winners. Virender Sehwag with 271 runs had the highest number of runs in the tournament and Muralitharan with 10 wickets had the highest number of wickets.

2nd season of ICC Champions Trophy won by New Zealand who beat India in the final. Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly with 348 runs was the leading run scorer in this tournament. Venkatesh Prasad with 8 wickets was the leading wicket taker. This was the first ICC event won by New Zealand.
South Africa winner of ICC Champions Trophy 1998
Winner : South Africa
1st ICC Knock Out turnament won by South Africa who beat West Indies in the Final match. Philo Wallace of West Indies was the leading run scorer in the tournament of scoring 221 runs. This was the first ICC event won by South Africa.
