Mumbai Appoint Shane Bond as Bowling Coach:
Shane Bond, Former New Zealand fast bowler has been appointed as the bowling coach of Mumbai Indians for the Indian Premier League season 2015. 39-year-old Bond to Quit as New Zealand Bowling Coach After World Cup.
Bond will join in the ranks of Mumbai Indians' support staff along with head coach Ricky Ponting (Australia), fielding coach Jonty Rhodes (south Africa) and batting coach Robin Singh (India).
Shane Bond played his trade during 2010 IPL season with Kolkata Knight Riders. Commenting on his upcoming assignment, Bond said: "Its' my privilege to be associated with the most highly regarded franchise in IPL. I look forward to bring in my cricketing experience to work along with Ricky Ponting and the team."
