India's pace bowler Zaheer Khan and left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha have been released by the Mumbai Indians, on Monday, ahead of Indian Premier League 2015.
Zaheer had suffered a side strain during IPL 2014 and has been out of action since. He was targetting a return in the Champions League T20 played later in the year, but failed to recover.
Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha who featured sporadically in the 2013 season has also been left out by Mumbai Indians for IPL 2015. Mumbai retained the services of off-spinner Harbhajan Singh for up-coming IPL season.
Earlier, Mumbai have acquired Unmukt Chand from Rajasthan Royals, R Vinay Kumar from Kolkata Knight Riders and Parthiv Patel from Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first IPL Trading Window.
