The window for the franchises to retain players for the 2014 Pepsi IPL season closed On 10th of January at 5:00 pm. IPL franchies have retained players for IPL season 7, 2014 as under:
Chennai Sueper Kings (5),
Kings XI Punjab (2),
Kolkata Knight Riders (2),
Mumnai Indians (5),
Rajasthan Royals (5),
Royal Challengers Bangalore (3) and
Sunrisers Hyderabad (2).
Delhi Daredevils did not retained any of 2013 player for 2014 season.
Total Twenty four players have been retained, including fourteen Indian players (of which three are uncapped) and ten overseas players. Remaining Players will have chance to appear in Player auction will be held on 12 & 13 February 2014 at the ITC Gardenia Hotel, Bengaluru, Seven franchises out of Eight franchies have declared their retained players names as follows:
