Kane Williamson's 118 helps New Zealand to registered 1st win in series by 6 runs in Delhi and level 5 ODI series 1-1.

2nd ODI of 5 match series between India and New Zealand has been played at Feroz Shah Kotla Delhi today. Putting into bat first by India, New Zealand lost Guptill early on very 2nd ball of the match but, skipper KS Willimson 118 and TWM Lathan 46 runs bated well and put New Zealand on good score of 242 runs in 50 overs. India made 236 runs in 49.3 overs and lost the match by just 6 runs. KS Willimson declared man of the match for his century knock. New Zealad level 5 match ODI series 1-1.

Earlier, India won the toss and put New Zealand into bat first. New Zealand could not made batter start and lost MJ Guptill on 2nd ball of of the match. MJ Guptill bowled by UT Yadav with superb delivery. Skipper Kane Willimson joined with T Lathan and took the charge in hand as well. Both played sensible cricket and added 118 runs for 2nd wicket before Lathan lbw bowled out by KM Jadhav scoring well 46 runs. Other middle orders got good start but could not excellerate well. CJ Anderson and LRPL Taylor made 21 runs each before became victim of Amit Mishra. KS Williamson played superb cricket and smashed 118 runs for New Zealand and helps to put 242 runs on board at the half time of the match. New Zealand made 242 runs having lost 9 wickets in 50 overs.

Following target of 243 runs, India could not made batter start and lost RG Sharma early scoring 15 runs. V Kohli also left the field early contributing just 9 runs. AM Rahane started well but fall scoring 28 runs of superb catch taken by Anderson. MK Pandey followed him with superb run out by Ronchi of 19 runs. Skipper Dhoni and KM Jadhav came in middle to made damge control of top orders. Both played slow but useful innings of 39 and 41 runs in middle overs before lost their wickets. In later overs Hardik Pandya played good inning of 36 runs of 32 balls but not enough to reach New Zealand score and India managed to score 236 runs in 49.3 over and lost the match by just 6 runs.
