5th match of Investec Test Series between England and India played at Kennington Oval, London. India continued with bad batting performances in both innings and lost the match as well as Test series 1-3. In 1st innng India made 148 runs. England made 486 runs with superb batting of JE Root (149*). India in 2nd inning all out scoring just 94 runs in 29.2 overs and lost the match by huge margins of innings and 244 runs.
England won the 5-match series 3-1.
