10th Group Stage match of CLT20 2014 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Perth Scorchers (KKR vs PS) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad. Kolkata with superb all round performances won the match by 3 wickets. SP Narine bowled well and picked up 4 wkts but, Kuldeep Yadav (Kolkata Knight Riders) declared man of the match for his tight bowling with 3 wickets in his 4 overs spending 24 runs.
Earlier, Scorchers won the toss and decided to bat first. Top order batsmen played well but other middle order and lower order batsmen failed to play well and managed to put average score of 151 runs on board in 20 overs. AC Voges(c) played good inning of 71* runs for Perth.
Following target of 152 runs, Kolkata could not made bater start and lost 2 early wickets. But, middle order and lower batsmen played well and Kolkata achieved given target in 19.4 over having lost 7 wickets. SA Yadav played well and contributed 43* runs of 19 balls.
Kuldeep Yadav (Kolkata Knight Riders) declared man of the match for his tight bowling with 3 wickets in his 4 overs spending 24 runs.
